Stand Up Paddle Boards

Jim Dreeben, of the Peconic Paddler, will talk about Stand Up Paddle Boards (SUP) - including their history, the reason for their popularity, the different types of boards, and the costs of getting started in this rapidly growing pastime. If you have ever thought to yourself, "What the heck?" after seeing a person standing up on what looks like a surf board propelling himself or herself along with a very long single bladed paddle, this meeting is for you.
